Hydronic Energy, Inc. is a manufacturers representative serving the hydronic heating and piping markets in Iowa, Nebraska, and Western Illinois. The companies represented by Hydronic manufacture items such as pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, water heaters, boilers, cooling towers, coils, flow control valves, acid waste pipe and fittings, pre-insulated piping systems, radiant floor heat, and various accessory items. These products are distributed to mechanical contractors, universities, school districts, industrial businesses, process users, and plumbing-heating wholesalers. We work closely on new design projects with consulting mechanical engineers, architect-engineering firms, and university and school maintenance departments, as well as with industrial users on new construction and remodeling.

Hydronic Energy, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Richard A. Hinz to act as a sales representative for heating products. The company started with an office in Des Moines, Iowa, and has grown to a stocking representative with offices and warehouses in Des Moines, Iowa, and in Omaha, Nebraska.

Kevin Bjornsen bought out Richard Hinz' interest in Hydronic Energy on January 31, 2001. The company has continued operations as usual with an even greater emphasis on customer service.

Hydronic Wholesale is a related company which represents manufacturers that market exclusively to plumbing and heating wholesalers.
 

In Memory of Carol Nish :: 10/30/1921 to 05/22/08 Carol was a beloved member of the Hydronic Energy family and will be missed. She began her career at the age of 17 with Goldberg Furniture, moved to D. C. Murphy in 1947 for 25 Years, and then onto H. P. Sales in 1972 for 14 years. In 1986 she came to work for Hydronic Energy where she worked until she became ill this spring. Carol had been in the HVAC Rep business for 61 years.
